For more than ten years Sport Science™ and Istituto ATS have worked with the CEP — Centre d’Expertise de la Performance in Dijon, the unit of the Faculty of Sport Sciences at the University of Burgundy dedicated to applied research and performance assessment. A long-established collaboration producing training courses, conferences and placements in some of the leading laboratories internationally.
From professional training to research laboratories.
The CEP in Dijon is one of Europe’s reference centres for functional assessment and applied research in sporting performance. Through a partnership spanning over a decade, Sport Science / ATS professionals gain direct learning experience in the centre’s laboratories: practical placements led by international researchers, study days and joint scientific conferences, with a constant bridge between teaching, research and application in the field.
Continuity between professional training and academic qualifications.
eCampus – Link University is a partner and teaching hub of Sport Science™: it provides continuity between professional training and the academic qualifications delivered through the eCampus and Link University academic platform. Professional pathways completed with Sport Science / ATS therefore have a natural academic continuation: each professional’s record is assessed individually for credit recognition and entry to degree courses. Some ATS | Sport Science™ Masters and Diplomas allow direct entry into the second or third year of university study.
Sport Science, Istituto ATS and Setanta College: a shared vision.
Sport Science, Istituto ATS and Setanta College have formalised an International Partnership founded on a shared vision of the professional world in sport science and on building the sector’s most important educational network. The initiative includes joint workshops, seminars and events aimed at implementing and sharing the most advanced technical knowledge.
Setanta College is an internationally recognised training institute specialising in human performance, sport science and performance psychology. Headquartered in Ireland with campuses worldwide, it has a strong track record and collaborations with prestigious international sporting organisations, including World Rugby. In Italy, Setanta has launched its flagship programme: the BSc in Strength and Conditioning, combining online lessons with practical laboratories.

Study on anatomical specimens: the direct bridge to the world of medicine.
ATS works deeply and continuously with the Merck Multimedica laboratory in Milan on the study of anatomical specimens. Within this collaboration ATS runs dissections, masterclasses and Cadaver Labs for health and sport professionals — placing it among the leading organisations in Italy in this field, with considerable success.
This learning experience is the strongest connection and the most direct link to the world of sports medicine: health, surgery and therapy enter the professional’s training, raising the scientific standard of the whole ecosystem and carrying anatomical knowledge from the laboratory into professional practice.
